A.D.A. Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer for its Corporate Headquarters in Doral, Florida.
Prepare electrical construction drawings, technical reports, and specifications.
Coordinate project ideas, design, conflicts, etc. with all engineering disciplines, contractors, project managers, and clients.
Provide cost estimates for proposed design.
Perform field visits/inspections during design and construction phases.
Review shop drawing documentation for compliance with project specifications.
Perform quality control quality assurance techniques to ensure design meets current codes and standards.
Attend kick-off, coordination, and progress meetings.
Apply electrical engineering, code and standards knowledge to solve complex construction problems.
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
3-5 years of work experience which involved construction, design, inspection or estimating.
Possesses or is actively seeking a Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or active registration in another state with the ability to reciprocate to Florida.
Knowledgeable in the National Electric Code.
Experience in electrical design including but not limited to: lighting, signalization, spillway structures, pump stations, grounding requirements, control systems, power distribution, standby power, etc.
Experience with AutoCad or Microstation. Both preferred.
Experience with Lighting Design and Photometric Software, preferably AGI32.
Strong verbal and communication skills.
